CONQUEST OF THE LAST ENEMY

"The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death" (I Corinthians 15:26).
Death is inevitable. God does not intend that man should live forever in this evil world. The thought of death provokes fear in the hearts of many. This should not be the case for a saint because death is just a transition to a blissful eternity. A careful look at our text reveals that death will be destroyed because believers will put on immortality at the rapture. listen to what Steve Jobs of the Apple fame said before he died, Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything - all external expectations,all pride,all fear of embarrassment or failure - these things just fall away in the face of death,leaving only what is truly important. n Beloved,make your way right and the fear of death will flee from you. The reality of death should help us to prepare the more for eternity since it can happen any time. Intensify your evangelism so that you can save friends and family members as quickly as possible.
