Model of Integrity I Daily Walk Devotion
It is hard to find anyone who is a model of integrity today. You look to celebrities, athletes, and politicians and all of them tell people what they want to hear, or they are so disrespectful of those they disagree with that it is repulsive. Paul tells Titus to be a model of integrity in his ministry. The church needs it, and the critics can’t say anything against it.

‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:7-8
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, 8 and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.

Honor God
The Apostle Paul is instructing the young minister, Titus to be a model of integrity. This started with his good works amongst the people of the church but also in his teaching. Dignity and integrity are essential in any message a minister preaches. They must conduct themselves in a way that will honor God and respect the people. Crude and dishonest people bring shame to the church and diminish their witness.

Remain Focused
Titus was under fire from a lot of critics. They were spreading rumors about him, and Paul is telling him to remain focused on his work and do it so well the critics have nothing to say about him. That is excellent advice for us as well. We are going to have people spread gossip and rumors about us, and we can allow ourselves to get caught up in the drama. Do what you are doing well, and pretty soon the critics won’t be anywhere to be found.

Model of Integrity
As Christians, we need to be a model of integrity. Our yes needs to be yes and our no needs to be no. We need to conduct ourselves with dignity in both our speech and our actions. Focus on the good works God has given you to do and remain silent in defending yourself. Satan would like nothing more than to get you focused on anything except what God has called you to do. Stand firm and remain faithful.
