“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20).

Trying to do the right thing under the Law of Moses only causes us to struggle more. By comparison, grace does perfectly what the law could never do: it makes us righteous in God’s eyes.
